“We couldn’t say enough about our stay! The grounds were beautiful, the rooms were very clean with a great Italian flare. There is lots of history to the property that we enjoyed. We loved our wine tour, and Thomas was extremely knowledgable and friendly throughout our experience. The resort was quiet and peaceful, with only a 20minute taxi to Florence we were still able to explore the nearby city. The front desk was extremely helpful and every worker went above and beyond. “Our family enjoyed our stay at Villa Castiglione very much. The room was very clean and the air conditioning worked extremely well. We enjoy having spritz and wine on the restaurant patio overlooking wine country. In the evenings we had some excellent meals at the restaurant. We appreciated Sham's service as well as the help of the entire staff in assisting with things like taxis to Florence. The only downside was that the pool was under construction during our visit. “We booked 4 rooms for a group of 8 people. The hotel is a winery inside a castle wall (with no nearby plantation) and the rooms are in well condition, spacious and fully equipped. The dinner were included and had a lot of choices and of good standard. The dinner place is a courtyard and was most enjoyable in the October weather. The captain of the restaurant Christian is most helpful. We have to give a special thank to reception staff Jonas. Our transport to the hotel was an electric rental car……

“This property has been under renovation for the past few years, with about another year of construction still to go. They are transforming an old winery into what will eventually be a 5- or 6-star resort, complete with a spa and other amenities. We stayed for two nights with our 11- and 13-year-olds and booked a family suite. The master bedroom bed was extremely comfortable, and the kids’ fold-out bed was large and surprisingly comfortable as well. The bathroom was brand new and had a door……
